2009 October - Congratulations YONO!!!

Yono is honored to have been selected as the Official Winners Portrait Photographer
for this month's Miss Louisville and Miss Jeffersontown Pageants. 

These are preliminary Miss America pageants and the level immediately preceding the 
Miss Kentucky Pageant.

This will continue a winning tradition Yono began with photo sessions with his first 
Miss Kentucky, Janet Hatfield (also a Miss J-town), in 1968. Yono has shot hundreds 
of pageant contestants throughout the years including numerous Miss KY, Miss Indiana, 
Miss America, Miss KY USA, Miss Indiana USA, Mrs. KY and Mrs. Indiana winners.

Yono's work has won dozens of Miss Photogenic awards (4 in 2008) and has been the 
official photographer for numerous pageants in the region. 

Yono is also a former Executive Director for the Preliminary Miss America Pageants, 
Executive Director (4 yrs) with the Miss Venus International, 
Co-Director Miss Hawaiian Tropic and has been involved in directing and/or sponsoring 
many more competitions.
